CHW Certification Committee Background and Responsibilities
In June 2021, ARCHWA created the CHW Certification Commission. The commission is responsible for the following:
Review and approval of Experiential and Training Certification Applications for Individual CHWs
Review and approval of Approved Training Programs
Creation of a registry for all certified CHWs in the state of Arkansas
Review and approval of Recertification of CHWs and Approved Training Programs
The commission can also address any complaints if they arise.
