We were thrilled to make the 2023 Summit a reality for 207 community health workers and public health stakeholders in Arkansas. The attendees represented all regions of the state and over 65 organizations. The two-day event was packed with professional development, celebration and lots of networking.
Formal Agenda for 2023 Annual Summit
The ARCHWA annual summit provides a space for CHWs and stakeholders in Arkansas to gather together to acknowledge the impact of the work they do in their communities, share best practices, and address challenges and barriers.
ARCHWA’s mission is “To support Arkansas Community Health Workers in promoting improvements in health and healthcare”. ARCHWA is the only membership-based organization for CHWs in Arkansas.
ARCHWA aims to bring together CHWs, allies, and other advocates to address health disparities and improved health outcomes for all Arkansans.
Every day, community health workers are supporting families to improve their lives and their health. ARCHWA is working to bring recognition to this valuable and impactful work while also building sustainability for the future of the CHW workforce in Arkansas.
