You are invited to participate in the Arkansas Cancer Coalition’s upcoming Breaking the Addiction: Tobacco Cessation Training for Healthcare Providers, on February 8, 2024 from 9:00am - 3:30pm. The training will be virtual and offers you an opportunity to earn up to six (6) Continuing Education Credits! 

 Participants will receive instructions on:

• Prescribing medications - (Pharmacotherapy – Taylor Borne, PharmD)

• Developing quit plans for tobacco users – (Motivational Interviewing – Sandra Brown, DNP)

• Referring patients for lung cancer screenings – (Low Dose CT Screening – Patricia Franklin, APRN, CTTS)

• The basics of coding and billing for tobacco cessation counseling – (Coding & Billing for Tobacco Cessation – Courtney Selby, PharmD)
