Preventing Diabetes Complications: From Head to Toe

Community health workers (CHWs) are frontline public health workers who typically are trusted community members and who possess a deep understanding of the communities they serve. They can help people with diabetes and their families learn how to manage diabetes and how to find resources in the community. Preventing Diabetes Complications: From Head to Toe webinar will discuss the most common types of diabetes complications and review ways in which CHWs can intervene to help people with diabetes prevent or delay diabetes related complications.
