We will discuss how vaping, E-Cigarettes, and emerging tobacco trends are on the rise and how they affect COPD patients. Additionally, our session leaders will share updates from the recently published 2023 GOLD Guidelines, which provide comprehensive recommendations for diagnosing, assessing, and managing COPD.
The afternoon session will address obstacles COPD patients face including mental and behavioral health as it relates to COPD, and COPD and nutritional implications and complications.
During the COPD in Arkansas Conference, we will review the latest recommendations that will enable clinicians to apply assessment and management strategies incorporating the latest evidence to guide individualized management plans for patients with COPD. This webinar is intended to educate respiratory therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals treating COPD patients in the community.
