The National Rural Health Association is hosting a free, virtual All of Us Research Program Community Health Worker Training for CHWs supporting rural communities. This training will provide an overview of the importance of health literacy and social drivers of health, as well as how the All of Us Research Program is utilizing these concepts to accelerate precision medicine research via engagement of populations underrepresented in biomedical research, including rural. Attendees will take away knowledge about the Program and how they can support All of Us in their community. The training is scheduled for July 7, 2023, from 9:00 AM – Noon PDT utilizing the Zoom platform, and will be hosted by certified CHW trainer Janel Lowman. The registration will be capped at 30 participants, so we encourage those interested in participating to please register as soon as possible. Certificates of completion will be provided to those who successfully complete the training.
